Vinachem: Advancing Steadily and Pioneering the Journey of Renewal

Vietnam National Chemical Group (Vinachem) has established the “Science-Technology, Innovation, and Digital Transformation Program for the 2025–2030 Period, with a Vision to 2040.” This serves as a strategic framework for selecting high-tech projects, investing in modern equipment, promoting research and development (R&D), and strengthening collaborations with institutes, universities, and technology enterprises. Once endogenous strength is awakened, innovation will become the engine that helps Vinachem advance steadily, pioneering the renewal process and realizing aspirations for sustainable development and deep integration.

Consequently, Vinachem is implementing the “Twin Transition” model—simultaneously pursuing comprehensive digital transformation and green development—to ensure business competitiveness while meeting environmental protection and sustainability requirements. We actively participate in sessions and conferences on science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation chaired by the Government. Representing the Group, I personally attend meetings of the Steering Committee for the Development of Science-Technology, Innovation, and Digital Transformation, as well as Project 06, thereby affirming our determination to fully execute the Group’s mandates in these fields.

…Making the “Vinachem” Brand a Prestigious, Quality, and Environmentally Friendly Choice

The launch of Vinachemmart and the Vinachem consumer product line on May 10, 2025, marked a significant milestone. It signaled a shift from industrial chemical production to expanding into the consumer market, directly addressing daily needs and solidifying the Vinachem brand in the public consciousness. The breakthrough concept of Vinachemmart is to build the first specialized e-commerce platform in the chemical industry, connecting manufacturers directly with consumers, eliminating intermediaries, and ensuring transparency in pricing and information to provide maximum convenience for customers. The simultaneous launch of the consumer product line—ranging from household biochemicals and batteries/accumulators to essential chemical products—helps consumers identify the Vinachem brand not just by name but through practical experience.

The strategic objective is to increase domestic market penetration, positioning “Vinachem” branded products as a prestigious, high-quality, and environmentally friendly choice. Simultaneously, the Group aims to drive digital transformation in distribution, transforming Vinachemmart into a modern channel to reach customers, collect feedback, manage logistics, and provide customer care. This creates a solid foundation for expanding the export of consumer products amidst increasingly stringent international standards for quality, safety, and the environment.
Notably, Vinachemmart does not only introduce a new business model but also contributes to consumer protection and safeguards the reputation of the Vietnamese chemical industry. All products on the platform are authentic, manufactured directly by subsidiaries of the Vietnam National Chemical Group, featuring clear traceability and strict quality control. Through this, Vinachemmart helps consumers easily access standardized products, contributing to the fight against counterfeit, fake, and substandard goods that jeopardize public health and damage the national brand image.

With Vinachemmart and the consumer product line, Vinachem is moving beyond its position as a flagship corporation in industrial chemicals to become a diverse brand that is more closely aligned with people’s daily lives. This diversification generates additional resources, reduces dependence on traditional products, and enhances the ability to adapt flexibly to market volatility, affirming Vinachem’s latest step forward on its journey of innovation and sustainable development.

…Brand Synchronization

Brand synchronization is an indispensable strategic task, as a strong brand provides Vinachem with a competitive edge, enhances market expansion capabilities, and builds long-term trust with customers, partners, and society. This specific strategy is deployed across multiple dimensions. First is the standardization of product quality and production processes: focusing on quality control from raw materials to final output, and applying international technical standards for safety, environment, hygiene, and health. Simultaneously, the Group is upgrading equipment, implementing automation and robotics, and collaborating with research institutes to integrate new patents and improvements into production—many technical initiatives have been launched and effectively applied, receiving wide recognition.

The second dimension is visual identity synchronization: designing Vinachem consumer product packaging with a unified interface that clearly integrates the message of “Innovation – Creativity – Environmentally Friendly.” This ensures that Vinachemmart serves as a supply and promotion hub with a consistent identity, requiring all subsidiaries to comply with shared brand identity criteria when launching consumer products. Regarding marketing, communication, and customer experience, Vinachem combines traditional and digital channels to disseminate its new image, telling stories of innovation, green technology, quality products, social contribution, and environmental responsibility. Modern distribution channels such as Vinachemmart, experience stores, and product showcase booths at events are established so that consumers can directly see, touch, and trial products, thereby strengthening brand trust. Finally, internal governance and human resources: training managers and the workforce on brand awareness, quality standards, new technology skills, and digital transformation, while building internal control systems to evaluate quality and encourage creative ideas and initiatives from within.

Twin Transition in Production & Business

In the first nine months of 2025, Vinachem achieved highly distinct results. Specifically, the industrial production value is estimated at over 47,712 billion VND, a 16.1% increase year-on-year; consolidated revenue reached approximately 51,478 billion VND, up 16.3%; and estimated profit reached 2,980 billion VND, a remarkable 41% increase over the same period last year. Notably, Vinachem successfully eliminated its consolidated accumulated losses by the end of the second quarter of 2025, achieving the goal of “zero accumulated losses by the end of 2025” six months ahead of schedule. This marks a significant milestone as the Group enters a new phase of development.

Furthermore, several fertilizer production units, including DAP-Vinachem, DAP No. 2-Vinachem, Ninh Binh Phosphate, Van Dien Phosphate, and Binh Dien Fertilizer, all met or exceeded their profit targets. This reflects the effectiveness of production cost optimization, flexible market management, the application of modern technology, and the ability to respond promptly to market fluctuations. In addition to financial results, the launch of Vinachemmart and the Vinachem consumer product line on May 10, 2025, during the “Greening and Digital Transformation of the Chemical Industry” ceremony, serves as concrete evidence of Vinachem’s strong commitment to innovation and digital transformation.

…Strategic Vision for the 2026-2030 Period

Vinachem has established a clear roadmap to capitalize on the momentum of its ongoing practical achievements while rising above global and regional challenges to aim for double-digit growth during the 2026-2030 period. Simultaneously, Vinachem remains steadfast in maintaining and enhancing quality and sustainability through the development of smart, highly automated factories, the application of clean and energy-efficient technologies, emission reduction, and an increased share of renewable energy—all while adhering to the circular economy model. Besides expanding the domestic consumer market and increasing brand coverage, the Group aims to boost exports as products fully meet international standards. Furthermore, the Vinachemmart system will be perfected, transitioning from its inception phase to a period of robust development in foundational technology, customer experience, and distribution network productivity.

To realize this vision, Vinachem will accelerate technology investment and expand modern production lines, implementing high-tech and automated smart factory projects. The Group will also strengthen cooperation with research institutes, universities, and both domestic and foreign technology enterprises to facilitate the adoption and transfer of new technologies. Digital transformation will be implemented more extensively, ranging from the perfection of digital infrastructure, Big Data, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) for market analysis, distribution, and supply chain management, to the development of advanced digital tools on Vinachemmart, such as mobile applications, online interaction features, rapid feedback systems, and automated customer care. Additionally, the Group focuses on developing green and eco-friendly products by applying clean technologies, reducing emissions, and optimizing waste treatment. This includes developing products using low-toxicity materials with high recyclability, contributing to carbon neutrality goals, and establishing a specific roadmap for green development toward 2050 as outlined in the strategic plans.

The development of human resources and the nurturing of an innovation culture serve as another vital pillar. The Group will intensify the training and recruitment of experts in technology, modern governance, quality management, digital marketing, and e-commerce. At the same time, Vinachem will encourage grassroots initiatives, launching creative emulation movements with clear reward mechanisms for outstanding individuals and collectives. Finally, Vinachem will strengthen governance, transparency, and value chain integration. This includes effective cost and financial management, ensuring transparent reporting, and maintaining close coordination among subsidiaries to leverage economies of scale and minimize waste. The Group will also promote alliances with enterprises in other sectors, suppliers, and international partners to build a stable and sustainable supply chain.

On the occasion of Vietnamese Businesspeople’s Day, I would like to extend my warmest congratulations to all entrepreneurs and managers within the Vietnam National Chemical Group—those who are directly steering our subsidiaries on the path of renewal. In an era where technology creates both unprecedented opportunities and challenges, every Vinachem entrepreneur needs to nurture a spirit of “daring to think, daring to do, and daring to take responsibility,” turning innovation into concrete actions within every policy, project, and product.

Only through steadfastness in our strategy and long-term vision can we lead our businesses toward breakthroughs, elevating Vinachem to new heights of development and affirming the Group’s position in the chemical industry and the rapidly accelerating digital economy. I wish all Vinachem entrepreneurs a firm resolve, clarity in thinking, and persistence in action to jointly drive the Group toward sustainable development and a pioneering role in innovation.

At this current stage, Vinachem has proven its capacity for transformation—shifting from a focus on traditional manufacturing to becoming a “modern – creative – green – digital” chemical corporation. The implementation of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW is no longer just an idea; it has been executed through specific and large-scale action programs across the Group, yielding clear initial results: profit recovery, the elimination of accumulated losses, and robust growth in production and business efficiency.

Within the framework of the 2026-2030 plan, with a target of double-digit growth and a priority on high technology, green products, and brand synchronization, Vinachem is aiming to become a leading brand in Southeast Asia. Our ambition is to secure a prominent position not only in the chemical industry but across Vietnam’s entire green industrial sector and within the global value chain.
